Art Is Home
Charmin Roundtree-Baaqee is an Oakland native, mother and the owner and founder of Art Is Luv, which provides exposure and advocacy for artists through exhibition, marketing, and branding. She is a City of Oakland Cultural Affairs Commissioner and the Co-Chair of the City of Oakland Public Art Advisory Committee. Her work with local, emerging, and established artists and non profit organizations is a testament to her unyielding desire to maintain the lively, diverse, and economically sustainable pulse of Bay Area artist communities and beyond. Her professional background as an engineer, art curator, small business owner, and longtime Oakland resident enables her to bring a unique and thoughtful perspective to any conversation.
